The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that the Laredo Bucks, the Laredo Entertainment Center and the city of Laredo, Texas have been awarded the 2010 CHL All-Star Game.  It will be the second time the Bucks have hosted the all-star game (2005).

“The Bucks made an outstanding presentation for the game and we were clearly able to see the ideas and thoughts they had to make this game a special one,” said Duane Lewis, CHL Commissioner.  “The Bucks had great success with their previous all-star game and we are confident that the organization will do an outstanding job with this event.”

Details about the game including the date, format, etc. will be announced at a press conference in Laredo in the very near future.

“We are very excited to host the All-Star game again next season”, said Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski. “This game will not only showcase the best that the CHL has to offer, it will be played in front of the best fans in the league.  We have some great plans for the game, and we cannot wait to put the finishing touches on them and announce them to the public.  This game will be something special, that’s for sure”.
