CHL’s Gorillas Will Not Relocate

amarillo-gorillasThe Amarillo Gorillas of the Central Hockey League will play the 2009-2010 season in Amarillo, the team announced Tuesday.

“After receiving multiple offers from other arenas in Texas, I have decided to keep the team in Amarillo,” commented Gorillas Owner/President Randy Sanders. “The Gorillas have invested themselves in the Panhandle community, and I hope and pray the Panhandle community will invest in us”.

As the Gorillas embark on their eighth season in the Panhandle, the team will be offering season seat holders multiple incentives. The no ticket left behind program, free game notes at each home game, an exclusive season ticket holder pass, 10% discount on all Gorillas merchandise, exclusive access to pre and post game parties, no waiting in ticket lines, email updates including press releases, upcoming promotions, and player appearance will all be included in the 09-10 season seat holder package. Season ticket holders may be apart of the Gorillas family for as low as $11.72 per game.

“We are doing everything we can to provide our fans access to professional hockey in the Panhandle,” remarked Gorillas General Manager Robert Simmons. “We are striving to give our fans the ultimate fan experience. Our organization is here to serve you.”

Season seat holders will also have the ability to purchase additional game tickets at a discounted price, and will be guaranteed all game night promotional items.
