LAREDO, TX - The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will hold a press conference Wednesday (Sept 16th) to officially announce the re-signing of the Team’s All-Time Leading Scorer Jeff Bes for the 2009-10 season.
The media and fans are invited to attend the event, which will be held at the Whataburger Location right next to the LEC at 3pm.
Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski will be on hand, as will Bes to make the announcement.
After the press conference both Ruskowski and Bes will be available to the media for interviews, and to the fans for pictures and autographs.
The 36-year old Bes, who is in his fourth year as the team’s assistant coach, is a two-time CHL Regular Season MVP (’04, ’08), 2003-04 CHL scoring champion, 2006 CHL playoff MVP, three-time CHL All-Star (’04, ’06, ’08), 2006 All-Star Game MVP, a five-time CHL player of the week, as well as a one-time CHL player of the month (January 2004).
Bes enters the 2009-10 season with 915 career points, including 510 in the CHL.
Bes is entering his 18th professional season, and his seventh in Laredo.
