A bit of Bucks news from earlier today – they cut six players, and now have a roster of 23 players. The club needs to part with four more skaters before their season opener on Thursday evening.

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Monday that they have released six players from their training camp roster. The Bucks now have 23 players on the roster, which must be trimmed to 19 by October 15th, the day before the season opener at Bossier-Shreveport.
The Bucks released rookie forwards Blair Hawes, Matt McKeown, and Kevin Flather, as well as rookie defensemen Nick Williams, Drew Kivell and Ian Clarke.
