Continuing a busy couple of days for the organization, the Dallas Stars got another depth guy under contract for the upcoming season. The club agreed to a one-year contract with right wing Ray Sawada on Friday. The contract for Sawada will be two-way, just as the ones for Lukowich, Fortunus, Ludwig, Morin, Gagnon and Wathier have been.
Sawada got brief looks at the NHL level the past two years, playing a total of 10 games with Dallas and scoring one goal. Last season with Texas, he posted 19 points (8G, 11A) and 92 PIMs.
