Dallas Stars assign Colton Sceviour to the Texas Stars

The Dallas Stars announced that they have returned forward Colton Sceviour to the Texas Stars this afternoon.  Sceviour played in one game, recording his first NHL point with an assist.

FRISCO, Texas – The Dallas Stars announced today that they have assigned forward Colton Sceviour to the Texas Stars, Dallas’ development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Sceviour, 23, appeared in one game with the Dallas Stars this season, tallying one assist for the first point of his NHL career. The Red Deer, Alberta, native skated in 32 contests with Texas earlier this season, recording 24 points (11G-13A) and a plus-10 plus/minus rating. The forward was selected by the Stars in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
