Big D Hockey was founded as a Blogger website in 2008 with the intent of bringing Texas hockey fans the best information about hockey in their state. We focused on many levels of hockey, from the Junior A level Texas Tornado, all the way up to the NHL’s Dallas Stars.
On March 5, 2010, Big D Hockey shifted focus to concentrate on the Dallas Stars and their affiliated teams – the CHL’s Allen Americans, the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads and the AHL’s Texas Stars.
