Game Reaction: Stars Fall to Sabres in Buffalo

It’s no secret the Stars have struggled in Buffalo this millenium.  It’s ironic that the place all Stars fans remember with such fondness, thanks to Brett Hull’s triple-OT win in the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals, now is a source of (at least budding) frustration and loss.  After Wednesday’s 5-3 loss, Dallas is 0-4-1 in... »

Game Reaction: Stars Edge Capitals in OT

The Stars win over the Capitals tonight was necessary.  This team needs their morale boosted in the locker room, the faith in their goalie restored, and the points in the standings.  The last was an immediate improvement, but if they can take their successes from tonight and move forward with them, it should go... »

The preview of the 2009-2010 season for the Dallas Stars has been posted on Yahoo’s hockey blog, “Puck Daddy”.  Resident hockey guru Greg Wyshynski gives the Stars solid marks, and predicts they’ll be vying for one of the Western Conference’s coveted playoff spots next April, but nothing is a lock.  I think that’s a... »
